Mass. Substance Abuse Information and Education Helpline

Staffed seven days a week, the helpline provides free, confidential information or referrals for alcohol and drug abuse problems.


Institute for Health and Recovery

Screening, assessment and referral process for families to access care and support for youth dealing with substance abuse. Service offered Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in English and Spanish.


Suboxone hotline, office-based opioid treatment program at Boston Medical Center

Hotline for referrals and information on opiate and heroin treatment for adolescents and adults.

Adolescent Substance Abuse Program at Boston Children’s Hospital

Program that seeks to identify, diagnose and treat substance abuse and disorders in children and adolescents.


Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Association (SAMHSA)

A treatment referral routing service that provides free, confidential treatment referral and information for mental health or substance abuse disorders, prevention and recovery. Service is available 24 hours a day in English and Spanish.


N.H. Department of Health and Human Services: Treatment Services Bureau

Provides a list of treatment centers and programs for those struggling with substance abuse.


Merrimack River Medical Services

A part of the Community Substance Abuse Centers network, offering private outpatient programs which provide humanistic treatment for substance abusers.


N.H. Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention

A 24-hour helpline for a treatment facility in Manchester, N.H.
