Hancock Associates, a Danvers-based land surveying, civil engineering and wetland science services firm, announced that project surveyor Dan Fleming has passed the State Surveyor Jurisprudence Exam and is now a registered professional land surveyor (PLS) in Massachusetts. Fleming joined Hancock Associates in 2017. He received his Professional Land Surveying Certificate from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Adam W. Winn of Beverly has joined Newburyport Bank as vice president, commercial loan officer. His responsibilities will include developing new commercial banking relationships and providing relevant products and deposit account services to commercial customers on the North Shore and in Essex County. Winn brings with him decades of experience, most recently as vice president at First Ipswich Bank. He is an active member of Beverly Rotary, the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce and Harborlight Community Partners.
Reynaldo Ramos, a longtime Salem resident, has been named senior director of purchasing and vendor relations for Salem State University. A Salem State alumnus, Ramos has more than 10 years of experience in purchasing and vendor relations. He will work on behalf of Salem State to ensure the university’s compliance with federal and state laws regarding its policies and procedures related to the procurement of supplies and services, including the development and administration of request for proposals and contracts, the obtainment of insurance coverages, and the management of Salem State’s relationships with selected vendors.
Realtors at the Cummings Center, Beverly, office of J Barrett & Company donated more than $7,000 to Family Promise North Shore Boston, a nonprofit that strives to return newly homeless families to economic self-sufficiency. The donation allowed Family Promise to help two of its recently housed families.
