Party in the street

Celebrate summer at “The Block” summer street party on Saturday, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., on Cabot Street in downtown Beverly. Walk around, meet up with friends and listen to live music. The sixth annual Salem Summer Jam, a free youth festival hosted by Fly Kidz, is set for Sunday, noon to 9 p.m., at Salem Willows, 167 Fort Ave. There will be a 40-foot bouncy house, a watermelon eating competition, live music, special performances, games and more. The Peabody Essex Museum throws a Summer Block Party Saturday, 3 to 10 p.m., in downtown Salem. Enjoy live music, food trucks and a beer garden. A taste of summer

Marini Farm’s Corn Fair is this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m., at 259 Linebrook Road, Ipswich. A family fun event with inflatables, a rope maze, giant slide, hayrides and more.
