This Saturday, one block of Beverly’s Cabot Street will be closed to traffic and open for entertainment.
From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., from Pond Street to Federal Street, it’s all about The Block. The street food’s hot, the beer is cold and the music is live. Rock to the sounds of The Rupert Selection, John Jerome Band and Over the Bridge. Disc jockey Soulo Productionz will spin tunes at Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza in Ellis Square.
Alcohol will be served, but not without a state ID and cash. There are no pets, bikes, skateboards or drones. Just lots of grown-up fun.
