Shane P. Cautillo, 22, of the streets, was arrested at 10:07 p.m. on the 200 block of Derby Street on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery on ambulance personnel, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest, and two counts of disorderly conduct.
A police cruiser backed into a parked school bus in the rear lot at Salem High School, 77 Willson St., at 12:11 a.m. The officer reported a minor scratch to the bus undercarriage and trunk and rear bumper damage to the cruiser. There were no injuries and neither vehicle required a tow. No citations were issued. A crash report was filed.
