A caller told police at 8:55 a.m. that his mother witnessed a man entering her garage on Blackstone Street and then leaving the area, and the man's car was now broken down in the Big Y parking lot. Police said that Wayne Destefano, 56, of 6 Cedar St., Wenham, would be summoned on charges of misdemeanor breaking and entering in the daytime.
Police responded to a report of a fight on Wheeler Street at 9:44 p.m. and arrested Deven Worrall, 22, of 6770 Congress Ave., Apt. 211, Boca Raton, Florida, on two warrants. Police said Worrall would be charged as a fugitive from justice.
