A man came into the station at 12:58 p.m. and reported youths had “a DJ-type thing” set up under the pavilion of Devereux Beach and were playing loud music. A responding officer informed the youths the “concert is over.”
Eight iPads and one laptop were reported stolen from the charter school on May 21, according to the log at 2:59 p.m.
Police responded to a report of two small dogs locked inside a parked car at 100 Cummings Center at 3:18 p.m. The windows were reportedly “cracked only about 2 inches” despite the “extreme heat.” The owner, who arrived shortly thereafter, reportedly “had a uniform shirt like nurses wear” that identified her as a veterinary technician. Officers advised her “heat could be deadly to the dogs.”
Police took a report of an egged vehicle at 42 Wellman St. at 5:22 a.m. Officers determined that five additional vehicles on Wellman Street had been egged, as well.

Police responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 10 Elizabeth Lane at 11:08 a.m. discovered a private investigator working in the neighborhood. He was advised to check in with police next time.
Police tried to pull over a vehicle that reportedly almost struck a pedestrian on a sidewalk at 32 King St. at 12:27 p.m. and engaged in a short pursuit when the driver would not comply. Shortly thereafter, police arrested Timothy Crane
