TOPSFIELD – Thursday's expected nor'easter has washed out many of the activities planned for the day at the Topsfield Fair but officials say they will still be open.
"Due to inclement weather the Topsfield Fair will be running at a limited capacity (Thursday). There will be no admission or parking fees," a statement from fair organizers said late Wednesday.
Thursday's shows by southern rockers, .38-Special and the always popular rodeo have been cancelled due to the expected deluge.
Officials said the agricultural building will be open, but the midway will remain closed Thursday for safety reasons.
