[Developing] The MBTA’s Blue Line is partially shut down Wednesday morning as the transit agency deals with a power issue near Government Center.
The T said passengers on the Blue Line, which connects downtown Boston to East Boston, Revere and beyond, should expect delays as buses are dispatched to replace train service.
"#BlueLine: Shuttle buses replacing service between Maverick and Bowdoin due to a power problem near Government Center. Please expect delays as buses are dispatched," the MBTA tweeted at 8:11 a.m. Wednesday.
The Blue Line power problem is gumming up the morning commute about five weeks after the derailment that has plunged the Red Line into a summer of delays.
