To the editor:
The Northshoremen Barbershop Chorus performed recently at the Danvers Library pavilion and had a great time singing for a wonderful, receptive audience. Our appearance was made possible by the generosity of Matt and Terry Desmond, residents of Danvers and owners of Oceanside Cabinets, who for the sixth consecutive year sponsored our concert. We are very grateful for their kindness, generosity and sense of community. The Northshoremen extend our sincere thanks to them, and to Sheryl James, director of the concert series, for allowing us to perform.
And as we always do, we also want to publicly thank the Danvers and Beverly cultural councils for their financial support over the years, which has allowed us to buy new audio equipment and music, helping us to improve every year. We sincerely appreciate the community support we receive in our efforts to keep the whole world singing.
Any men interested in joining our chorus are welcome. We meet at 7:30 every Wednesday evening at the Italian Community Center at 300 Rantoul St. in Beverly. For more information please call (866) 727-4988, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or just come on down.
Again, our heartfelt thanks to Oceanside Cabinets and to Ms. James. This annual concert is truly one of the highlights of our year.
