To the editor:
I would like to thank the following for making our "Edsels in the Witch City" event a reality:
Mayor Kim Driscoll, Doug Bollen, Councilor Mike Sosnowski, Ellen Talkowski, Park and Recreation board members Mike Coleman and Maryann Curtin, Helen Medler, Jim McAllister, Michael Harrington, Kristie Poehler, Karen Cotton, Conrad Prosniewski, Biff Michaud, Tina Jordan, Kate Fox, Bill Lazdowski, William Hanger, Fraternity Lodge, IOOF 118, Essex Lodge of Freemasons, Scottish Rite Valley of Salem, Salem Witch Museum and Mac Auto Parts.
The national and international members of the 42nd Annual Edsel Owners Club Convention were so excited to be here in Salem, as were the many visitors who viewed the restored Edsels with the sounds of the 1950s in the background.
We were honored to be part of Salem Heritage Days 2010. I greatly enjoyed presenting my lecture on the history of the Edsel and the Ford Motor Company to the citizens of Salem and the many visitors.
The convention guests loved Salem, its friendly residents and its great historic and natural resources. What a great place!
Again, my thanks to you all.
