There's no such thing as a perfect ten but Masconomet's Gracy Mowers is about as close as you can get.

The Chieftains outstanding gymnast averaged a 38.71 all-around score this season and was selected as the MVP of the combined Northeastern Conference and Cape Ann League. The defending state champions from Masco had a team average of 148.53, one of the highest scores in recent memory of any team from the North Shore, and are getting ready for sectional and state competition.

The rest of the NEC/CAL all-stars, which were chosen based off of season scoring averages, were as follows:

All-Around: Sarah Aylwin, Masconomet (36.55); Allie Taylor, Danvers (35.89).

Vault: Greta Mowers, Masconomet (9.36); Taylor Howard, Essex Tech (9.2), Keegan Richardson, Beverly (9.15).

Bars: Nicole Bonacorso, Masconomet (9.41); Alexa Budrow, Masconomet (8.95); Maeve McIlroy, Marblehead/Swamspcott (8.78).

Beam: Emma Quirk, Masconomet (9.38); Brandi DiCicco, Winthrop (8.95); Alayna Ronan, Winthrop (8.74).

Floor: Cat DiNanno, Masconomet (9.53); Jess Mandri, Danvers (9.38); Sydney Spencer, Beverly (8.94).

Winthrop's Daria Millerick was voted NEC/CAL Coach of the Year and Peabody received the league's team sportsmanship award.
