DANVERS — Eleven new inductees will be going into the St. John's Prep Hall of Fame this Saturday to celebrate the school's 113-year tradition of athletic excellence.

The St. John's Prep Hall of Fame, which recognizes alumni, coaches and supporters for their outstanding contributions to the school's athletic program, will induct Darren James (Class of 1989), Boxford's Justin Dechene (Class of 1994), Swampscott's Mike McLaughlin (Class of 1997), Greg Wojtkun (Class of 1997), Beverly's Todd Glew (Class of 2002), Ryan Bird (Class of 2002), Sean O’Connor (Class of 2007), Gloucester's Sean O’Hara (Class of 2007), Bro. Edwin, C.F.X. (posthumous induction), Coach Peter Argeros of Peabody, Coach Dave McHenry, also of Peabody.

In addition, Peabody's Mike Cronin from the Class of 1979 will receive the prestigious Crystal Eagle Award.

This year’s crop of 11 new inductees will join 259 prior honorees since the Hall of Fame’s inception 35 years ago.
