WOMEN’S COLLEGE HOCKEY
Endicott 3, Williams 0: Alyssa Peterson stopped all 16 shots she saw in the third period to earn a 39-save shutout as the Gulls (8-1) secured their fifth straight win. Courtney Sullivan’s seventh goal of the year stood up as the game-winner while Jade Meier added an insurance goal with under three minutes to play. Kaylee Liberty added an empty netter, on which the goalie Peterson and Peabody’s Mady Hentosh earned assists.
UNE 5, Salem State 0: Though they wound up putting 23 pucks on net, the Vikings were outshot 11-2 in the opening period and never recovered from the slow start. Goalies Sarah Plourde and Dana Smullen combined for 24 stops and Amanda Giles had a team-high five shots on net while Salem was hamstrung by an 0-for-4 effort on the power play.

Suffolk 4, Endicott 3: Luke Rodgers scored to make it a one goal game with just under four minutes to play, but falling behind 4-1 proved fatal for the Gulls (5-3) on the road. St. John’s Prep grad Mitch Shaheen scored his first collegiate goal for the Gulls while James Winkler also lit the lamp.
Salem State 3, Southern Maine 3: The Vikings (1-4-1) rallied from one goal down in the latter stages of the third period to earn a point on the road up in Gorham, Maine.
WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Coast Guard 66, Gordon 59: A slow start with only seven points in the opening quarter doomed the Scots as they fell to 3-3. Meghan Foley had a game-high 23 points and Sarah Gibbs was a force in the paint with 20 rebounds to go with her 13 points. Serianna Anderson also gave Gordon a nice life off the bench with 14 including four triples.
Brandeis 89, Salem State 49: Courtney Paschal was a perfect 7-for-7 on free throws and was the only Viking to hit double figures with 23 points in the loss to the Judges. Salem State (2-3) got eight from Mia Crawley as well.
