'Warrior' crowned new Marblehead to Halifax champ

The 38th biennial Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race officially came to a close Tuesday evening and it was Steve and Stephen Murray's ship 'Warrior' that took home the crown. 

Warrior made it to Nova Scotia's Halifax shore at 11:12 p.m. (ADT) Monday night in a speedy time of one day, 10 hours, 23 minutes and 12 seconds. Second in line was Sean Caraher's Zaraffa, which reached land at 6:24 a.m. Tuesday morning. 

A total of 66 ships took the seas in this summer's edition of the infamous event, with a number of local sailors testing their mettle to boot. For a full list of this year's results please visit www.marbleheadtohalifax.com/2019-results
